Activity Details Your 1.5 hour PRIVATE Baywatch charter is the ultimate day on the water — just your crew, no strangers. Cruise through Newport’s most iconic sights: Gilded Age mansions (including Jackie Kennedy’s childhood home), historic yacht clubs, postcard-perfect lighthouses, hidden coves, and the legendary Clingstone “House on the rock.” Blast your playlist on the Bluetooth sound system, sip your BYOB drinks with complimentary ice and water, enjoy the onboard head, and take a dip with floats if the vibe hits. A dream backdrop for private groups of friends and family looking for epic photos, pure fun, and a totally private boat ride. What's included Your Baywatch private charter includes a fully private 1.5-hour cruise for just your group, with complimentary water, seltzer, and a large cooler filled with ice. You’re welcome to BYOB and bring your own snacks, and a Bluetooth sound system lets you play your own playlist. The boat has an onboard head for convenience, and you’ll have the option to swim and use floats when conditions allow. Baywatch comfortably accommodates groups of up to 19 guests, making it ideal for celebrations, bachelorettes, and friends & family looking to enjoy Newport from the water. What's not included Your charter does not include alcohol or food, so you’ll need to bring your own drinks and snacks. Transportation to and from the dock is not provided. Gratuity for the captain and crew is not included but appreciated. Towels, sunscreen, and swim gear are not supplied, and you’re welcome to bring any décor or small event items you’d like to personalize your trip. We do not provide professional photography services, but we’re always happy to take photos for you using the phones or cameras you bring along. Itinerary After departing the dock, we begin with a slow cruise through Newport’s inner harbor, gliding past the city’s charming wharfs and the storied Ida Lewis and New York Yacht Clubs. From there, we make our way along Newport’s famous waterfront mansions and historic Fort Adams before opening up into the bay. In the bay, we’ll pass Jackie Kennedy’s childhood home, the iconic Castle Hill Lighthouse, Jamestown’s scenic coastline, and the remarkable Clingstone “house on the rock.” Along the way, expect views of classic lighthouses, striking coves, and often a few impressive superyachts. Highlights A Completely Private Experience: Baywatch is one of the few boats in Newport offering a truly private charter — no mixed groups, no strangers, no awkward sharing of space. It’s just you and your crew from the moment you step aboard, creating a relaxed, comfortable setting where you can unwind, celebrate, and be yourselves. A Boat Designed for Fun and Vibe: Unlike traditional sightseeing vessels, Baywatch was built for energy and atmosphere. With a wide-open layout, premium Bluetooth sound system, spacious seating, and the option to swim, it’s the perfect floating lounge for celebrations, bachelorettes, friend groups, or anyone who wants a lively, stylish backdrop for their day on the water. Hospitality You Can Feel: Your captain and crew aren’t just boat operators — they’re hosts. Guests consistently point out how personal, friendly, and flexible the experience feels. Whether it’s helping with photos, adjusting the pace of the cruise, or creating the right vibe for your group, the service is warm, genuine, and tailored to you. Photo-Ready from Every Angle: From the color of the boat to the seating layout and the open deck, Baywatch is designed to look incredible in photos. It’s one of the most Instagrammable charters in Newport, with clean lines, vibrant color, and a layout that gives you unobstructed views — perfect for capturing those bachelorette shots, group photos, and golden-hour moments. Pricing We use a dynamic pricing model to keep things fair, transparent, and flexible for all types of groups. There are three pricing tiers: Weekends/Holidays, Weekdays, and Early Morning/Sale slots. For most trips, the price is the same for up to six guests — think of this as the base rate. If you have more than six people, the rate shifts to a per-person structure, so you only pay for the actual size of your group. Prices range from $595 to $1,600, depending on your group size, the day of the week, and the time of your charter. If your group size changes after booking, no problem — we can easily refund or adjust your reservation as long as you stay within the boat’s maximum capacity. Check-in details We pick up all guests right in front of Saltwater, the bar and restaurant located on the deck of the Newport Harbor Hotel & Marina at 49 America’s Cup Ave. This is an easy landmark to find, and your captain will meet you directly on the waterfront deck. Please plan to arrive 10–15 minutes early, especially on weekends. Traffic in Newport can be heavy, and arrivals tend to bottleneck around the wharves. If you’re taking an Uber or Lyft, they can drop you off right in the circular driveway by the wharf, just steps from the meeting point. Before boarding, make sure everyone in your group has completed their digital waiver. This helps us get you on the water quickly and keeps the check-in smooth and stress-free. What to bring Bring sunscreen, sunglasses, and towels and bathing suits if you plan to swim. Don’t forget your BYOB drinks, snacks, and a great playlist—we provide ice, water, a cooler, and Bluetooth speakers. Wear comfortable shoes, pack a light jacket for cooler weather, and bring your phone or camera for photos. Special requirements Children under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian, and all guests—regardless of age—must complete a digital waiver before boarding. While Baywatch is not ADA compliant, we can accommodate strollers and wheelchairs with advance notice and can assist with boarding as needed. Guests should be able to safely step on and off the boat with minimal assistance, and anyone who plans to swim must be comfortable in the water. We also cannot exceed the boat’s maximum capacity under any circumstances, so please provide an accurate guest count ahead of time. If your group size changes, we can adjust your booking as long as it remains within the allowed limit. Restrictions This trip is suitable for most guests, including pregnant women, though anyone with limited mobility should use caution when boarding. Baywatch is not ADA compliant, but we can assist and accommodate strollers and wheelchairs when possible. We stay in very calm waters and avoid conditions that might cause seasickness. Guests should be able to sit securely while the boat is moving, and swimming is only recommended for confident swimmers. If you have questions about specific physical needs, please reach out before booking. Extras Your charter includes access to fun add-ons like floating mats and swim floats for groups who want to get in the water. You’ll also have a friendly crew member on board who’s always happy to take photos for your group using your phone or camera, making sure you capture all the best moments without needing a professional photographer. Health & Safety Your safety is our highest priority. Baywatch operates in calm, protected waters to keep the ride comfortable and reduce seasickness. All guests must be able to board safely with minimal assistance, and the captain may adjust speed or route at any time for safety. A swim waiver is required for anyone who enters the water. Swimming is only allowed at the captain’s discretion and is never permitted after drinking. Life jackets and safety gear are provided for all ages. Guests who cannot swim or feel unsure in the water must wear a life jacket when swimming. Please follow all instructions from the captain and crew — they are trained professionals and have final authority over all safety decisions. If you’re prone to seasickness, consider taking motion-sickness medication before boarding and mention it to the captain. Over-consumption of alcohol may result in swimming cancelation, or in extreme cases, the trip ending early for the group’s safety. Disclaimers Swimming is optional and allowed only at the captain’s discretion, based on conditions and guest behavior. All swimmers must first sign the swim waiver. For safety reasons, swimming and drinking cannot be combined, and over-consumption of alcohol is not permitted. If excessive drinking becomes a safety concern, the captain may stop swimming activities or end the charter early without refund. Weather, water conditions, and marine traffic may affect the route or overall experience, and the captain has final authority on all safety decisions.
